Taylor Ferrara is an attorney in the Private Client Services practice. As a trust and estate lawyer, she describes herself as a natural problem solver, assembling estate plans like puzzles to meet her clients’ unique needs.
Taylor did not set out to become an attorney. As the oldest of four, she grew up in Syracuse, New York, where her father is a malpractice attorney. Though many encouraged her to follow in his footsteps, Taylor chose her own path. After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh with a degree in Management Information Systems and a minor in Supply Chain Management, she began her career as a claims adjuster with Liberty Mutual in Albany. The challenge of evaluating claims sparked her interest in law, eventually leading her to Suffolk University, where she earned her J.D. While at Suffolk, Taylor met Attorney John Donahue from Wilchins Cosentino & Novins at a networking event, which led to joining WCN as a paralegal after graduation before passing the bar and becoming an attorney.
Boston has since become her city, where she is an avid Celtics and Red Sox fan. She was thrilled to attend the 2024-2025 Celtics season opener to see the 18th banner raised—a true fan’s milestone.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys engaging in a variety of interests, from solving challenges with friends in video games like Destiny 2 and Helldivers 2 to hosting monthly game nights at WCN, bringing colleagues together for everything from competitive board games to casual card games. She plays tennis, loves to snowboard and is an adventurous cook, currently working on mastering her own ramen broth recipe. She is a fan of porters and stouts and enjoys visiting breweries to check out the scene and enjoy a flight. Her favorite Massachusetts brewery to date is the Harpoon Brewery & Beer Hall in the Seaport.
Committed to supporting her community, Taylor volunteers at NAGLY, the North Shore Alliance for GLBTQ youth. She recently shared a laugh about the intense Halloween traffic she faced when helping at the organization’s Halloween dance in Salem. Taylor enjoys supporting this organization and enabling kids to have a safe space to be themselves.
Although horror movies aren’t her style, Taylor enjoys dark humor and witty shows and movies, citing Deadpool as a favorite. She is a fan of The Bear and is currently enjoying The Penguin. While reading for pleasure isn’t her go-to escape, she does love diving into new recipes, exploring ethnic grocery stores to discover unique ingredients.
