Business Law
Compensation Planning & Termination
Many of our corporate attorneys have served as general counsel at privately-held, equity-backed and public corporations. We leverage this experience to effectively counsel both established and emerging businesses as they grow.
Executive and Employee Compensation Planning
Our business attorneys provide guidance and advice on planning, structuring, and addressing various issues related to executive, management, and employee compensation, bonuses and incentives. Such guidance and advice includes planning, structuring and drafting employment agreements, bonus plans and incentives and stock option and equity plans. As an alternative or supplement to equity based compensation plans, our business attorneys provide guidance and advice with respect to phantom equity plans and supplemental bonus agreements and plans, such as short-term incentive plans, long-term incentive plans and bonus opportunities, and transition and exit bonuses.
Executive and Employee Termination
The business lawyers at WCN also provide guidance and advice on planning, structuring, and addressing issues related to executive, management, and employee termination and related issues, including severance and release agreements, and agreements regarding post-termination rights and restrictive covenants.
From Formation
to Exit Strategies
Taking a highly personalized concierge approach, our business attorneys guide our clients with sound, pragmatic legal solutions. We work closely with founders, directors and managers of private and family-held businesses on both strategic and day-to-day business matters.
